The #Nagayon365 Contest is a contest and crowdsourcing campaign designed to encourage locals and visitors to share their collective ideas and content on what makes Naga City beautiful.

  2. Photographers
  3. Content creators
  4. Open to all locals and visitors

Overview

Share your ideas, photos, videos, or reels showcasing what makes Naga City beautiful. Ideas may include:

  1. Beautiful experiences in and around Naga City
  2. Beautiful places to visit in or near Naga City
  3. Instagrammable spots in Naga City
  4. Must-try food or activities in or near Naga City

Mechanics

Eligibility:

  • Open to individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses.
  • Participants must have a valid public profile or page to post entries.

Submission Period:

  • Entries must be original and owned by the participant.
  • Participants must send a link to their entry to the Naga City Tourism messenger for verification.
  • Posts must be made between August 1, 2024, and September 30, 2024.

Posting Requirements:

  • Entries must be published on the participant’s profile or page and set to public.
  • Captions must explain why the subject/photo/experience makes Naga City beautiful.
  • Captions must include details about the gadget used to capture the photo or video (e.g., mobile phone, DSLR, drone). Additional prizes may be awarded based on the type of gadget used.

Hashtags and Tagging:

  • Participants must use the official hashtags: #Nagayon365Contest, #Nagayon365, and #Nagayon.
  • Participants must tag the Naga Tourism Page as a business partner and allow boosting of the post.

Content Guidelines:

  • Entries must not contain vulgar language, nudity, or violence.
  • Content should adhere to community guidelines and promote positive imagery of Naga City.

Usage Rights:

  • Participants must grant Naga Tourism the right to use, modify, and feature the photo or video in contest highlights or tourism campaigns, with proper credit given to the owner.
  • Naga City Tourism shall not be liable for any claims arising from the use or origin of the submitted photos or reels.

Additional Clauses:

  • Entries may be disqualified if they are found to be plagiarized or not originally owned by the participant.
  • Participants can submit multiple entries but must follow the same guidelines for each submission.

Criteria for Judging:

  • Messaging and Storytelling (20%)
  • Representation of Naga City’s Identity (20%)
  • Creativity of the photo or video (30%)
  • Aesthetic appeal (30%)

Awarding is on October 21, 2024

Note: The Naga City Investment and Tourism Promotions Office will form a panel of judges from various City Hall offices and partner groups. The composition of this panel will be announced before the last day.

The decision of the panel of judges is final.

A: The minimum length for videos and reels is 15 seconds. There is no maximum length, but the reel or video should be concise and engaging to capture the audience’s attention.

A: Entries can be submitted via the following social media platforms:

A: Participants must post their entries on their chosen platform with the appropriate hashtags and tag the Naga Tourism Page. Additionally, participants need to send the link of their entry to the Naga City Tourism messenger for verification.

A: Yes, entries must not contain vulgar language, nudity, or violence. All content should adhere to community guidelines and positively represent Naga City.

Prizes (Net of taxes):

Photo Contest:

  • 1st Prize: Php 20,000.00
  • 2nd Prize: Php 15,000.00
  • 3rd Prize: Php 10,000.00

Reels Contest:

  • 1st Prize: Php 20,000.00
  • 2nd Prize: Php 15,000.00
  • 3rd Prize: Php 10,000.00

Note:

Additional award categories may be announced later. Prizes may include merch and vouchers from partner tourism-related establishments.

Consent

By joining the Naga ‘Yon 365 Photo Contest, the participant agrees to abide by the contest rules and regulations. The participant certifies that the submission is their creative property and that they allow the contest organizer(s) to use their submissions on all its platforms.
