Nabontolan Falls

Aside from Malabsay Falls, Nabontolan is a mountain trekker's favorite.

One of the more accessible waterfalls found at the Mt. Isarog National Park, Nabontolan Falls is about 40-50 minutes of trekking from the park entrance. The name is derived from “bontolan“, a Bikol word meaning “quarrel or fist fight”. Mt. Isarog is dotted with numerous waterfalls and springs, offering opportunities for communing with nature and a cold splash after a hard trek.

Other popular waterfalls include Baby Falls and Tinago/Hidden Falls.  Contact the Naga City Tourism Office (tourism@naga.gov.ph) for information on the required permits and guides.
