  • By Air

Naga Airport: The most convenient way to reach Naga City is by flying directly to Naga Airport in Pili, Camarines Sur. Major Philippine airlines and low-cost carriers offer regular flights from Manila and other major cities in the Philippines. From the Airport to the City: Once you arrive at the airport, you can take a taxi or jeepney to reach Naga City. The journey is short, taking approximately 15-20 minutes.

  • By Land

Bus: Several bus companies operate daily trips between Manila and Naga City. The Bicol Central Station (BCS) is the transport hub, with bus passengers offloading.  The journey typically takes around 8-10 hours. Phillipine Natiional Railways: The Philippine National Railways (PNR) has recently opened its Naga-Legaspi route, offering new travel options from neighboring Albay province and locations along the route. [ Visit Naga Website Page / Visit PNR FB Page

Private Vehicle: If you’re driving, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Central Luzon Expressway (CLEX) until you reach the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). From SCTEX, continue on the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx) and then take the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26) towards Naga City.

  • By Sea

RoRo Ferry: Although less common, you can also travel to Naga City by RoRo ferry. There are ferry services connecting Manila to Sorsogon City, and from there, you can take a bus or van to Naga City.

  • Book in Advance: To ensure availability, especially during peak seasons, it’s recommended to book your flights or bus tickets in advance.
  • Check Ferry Schedules: If you’re planning to travel by ferry, check the schedules and routes well in advance.
  • Consider the Travel Time: Be prepared for a longer travel time, especially if you’re traveling by land.
    Take plenty of rest before driving on a long trip, have someone alternate you in driving
  • Enjoy the Journey: The journey to Naga City can be part of the adventure. Take time to appreciate the scenic landscapes along the way. Experienced travelers usually choose the night trip by bus and take the most comfortable, modern buses that are available.
