“Perdon” means “Pardon” or “forgiveness. An old Bicolano tradition wherein devotees or penitents would go around barangays or the streets barefooted and ask forgiveness from the Lord. Perdon Processions are often held when a sudden calamity arises in a place,in case of a severe epidemic, or when many casualties occur in barangays or cities.

Every Peñafrancia Festivities, a Perdon Penitential Procession takes place in the streets of Naga, along with the Icon of the DIVINO ROSTRO and the devotees and penitents, asking pardon and strength throughout Bicol.
