Experience the vibrant cultural richness of Bicol at the first-ever Bicol Art Fair, “Pagrumdom: Kabikolan Noon at Ngayon.” This exciting exhibition, curated by foremost Bicolano artist Pancho Piano, will open on September 8, 2024, at 4 pm at V Gallery & Museum, Naga City. It will run until Sept. 30.

Visitors will discover a diverse array of perspectives on Bicolano culture, history, and identity.

The exhibition showcases the creativity of Bicolano artists from Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Catanduanes, Partido, Rinconada and even as far as Tanay, Rizal offering unique visions of local life and surroundings. Expanding its reach, the fair also features works from Manila-based “Bicol Express-ion” artists , highlighting the impressive national influence of Bicolano talent.

“Pagrumdom” invites you on a captivating journey through Bicolano heritage, featuring an array of engaging mediums. This landmark fete celebrates Bicol’s artistic legacy, from cherished traditional themes to innovative contemporary interpretations. Join us for an inspiring exploration of the region’s vibrant past and dynamic present through the eyes of its talented artists.
