Buklad Fest 2025 responds to the challenges brought about by Severe Tropical Storm KristinePH and Super Typhoon Pepito, which struck Bikol late last year. The festival promotes collective healing and solidarity through an art fair, art exhibition, performances, film screenings, lectures, and plenary sessions. It seeks to empower Bikolanos to elevate their voices and confront the ongoing environmental and societal crises, hence the theme, “Nagkukusog na Raguso, Nagkukugos na Boses” (Rising Currents, Resounding Voices).
