The Solemn Transfer of the Image of El Divino Rostro from the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Peñafrancia to the Old Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Peñafrancia will happen on September 3, 2024.

The evening will begin with a Eucharistic Celebration at 5:15 PM at the Minor Basilica. Following the Mass, the image of El Divino Rostro will be transferred to the Old Shrine in a procession accompanied by the Archbishop, the Archdiocese of Caceres Clergy and devotees.

This solemn act marks the official start of the Peñafrancia festivities, with novenary masses in honor of the Divino Rostro commencing the following day, September 4, 2024.
